Bitters-The Missing Flavor

Bitters provide digestive health, help with nutrient absorption, and are an important part of meals and drinks. Most modern diets do not include this fabulous flavor. We will learn how to prepare bitter greens and incorporate them into our meals. We will also learn about digestive bitter extracts and create one to take home.

Tea Making Class

Tea making is a creative art form that is delicious to drink, and depending on the herbs and fruits used, can support your health. Herbal teas are known as tisanes. Join me as we explore the potential health benefits of culinary and grown herbs and fruits; taste tisanes, and create your own special tisane blend.

Winter Herbal Support Class

As winter approaches we spend more time indoors. Windows are closed and heaters are on. Germs circulate the room like social butterflies. What can we do to support our system before we get sick or while we are sick? We will explore different ways herbs may be helpful, experience an herbal steam, and create an herbal syrup.
